I have an auto electrician looking at turning the immo off on my A6 due to problems with dash panel and locking out the key transponder - He as taken the route of adapting the ECU but we are still haveing problems with the immo cutting the engine out Ibought a 2004 a4 to fix and flip. The immobilizer in the key isn't programmed to the car. Previous owner wouldn't come out and say what happened but the key skin looks new so I'm guessing he damaged the original immobilizer chip.
